North East October Half Term Tour Places Still Available
To all players and parents During the October Half Term, which is Sunday the 24th to Friday the 29th of October, we will be running a tour in the North East of England for next seasons Under 12’s through to Under 16’s. We will look to play three matches, against Darlington’s Centre of Excellence as well as Sunderland and Hartlepool. We will also schedule in a rest day where the lads can get to know each other, see more of the local area and do some training exercises in their teams. We will travel on the Sunday, with various pick ups on route, and use the evening to settle into the accomadation, eat at a local restuarant and get organised for the week ahead. There will then be matches for the following days, as well as the rest day, before we travel back on the Friday via the various drop off points. We will be staying at the Premier Inn in North Shields, a familiar venue for players who have been on the North East Tour before. It is situated opposite the JJB Soccer Dome, as well as having nearby restuarants, a swimming pool, bowling alley and a shopping centre. Buffet Breakfast is included in the price for the lads, however they will need to bring money for evening meals and snacks during the day. The price for the week will be £295 per player, with any parents who wish to travel costing the same. Prices are based on four people sharing a family room and includes the Breakfast buffet, travel, insurance, ancillary vehicles, staffing and cleaning of kits etc. Places will be allocated to the first 16 players who come forward from each age group, and deposits of £100 will need to reach the office as soon as possbile. We will then look to recieve the remaining payment of £195 by the middle/end of September. Refunds are unreturnable so lads will need to make sure they will definitely be available if they want to put their names down, and the same applies for parents.
