| On Saturday 16th January 2010 - 11.30am start there is a round robin Under 16s Tournament for all Under 16s Players and selected Under 15s Players. The purpose of the Tournament to be held at Ivybridge Community College, Devon on the 3G surface (No Blades or Studs) is to give TORQUAY UNITED'S HEAD OF YOUTH the opportunity to look at all our Under 16s Players and selected Under 15s players, in view of players that impress SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. ELITE WILL BRING VARIOUS DEVELOPMENT CENTRES FROM PLACES LIKE THE MIDLANDS, HUNGERFORD, WARMINSTER, BRISTOL AND PLYMOUTH. TORQUAY UNITED YOUTH DEPARTMENT are keen to look at players from outside the area and this is a REAL opportunity for any young player who is looking to gain a scholarship at a professional club - where being a relatively small club there are tremondous opportunities for those young players that make the grade. All players are required to arrive at Ivybridge for 10.45 am All squads will play a minimum of 4 games each game shall be thirty minutes in duration All Players will be expected to make their own in travelling to the venue, all players are asked to pay £5 to contribute to the costs of hiring the facilities for the day Please note no blades or studs ONLY TRAINERS or DIMPLE SOLES the facility is very strict on thid - and will not let people play in wrong footwear.
