| The Advanced development centre in Plymouth following the departure of Roy Burt have three new recruits to the centre some of whom will work with our under 11's age group and also with other age groups throughout the evening. The first appointment is a coach who has worked at the centre before. Bobby Hopkinson after returning to Plymouth will work at the centre for the meantime working with his old age group the under 11's. Bobby left the centre to join Aldershot and was working at our centre in Hungerford for Swindon Town. The next is Plymouth Argyle player Ryan Leonard. Ryan son of Dave Leonard head coach at the centre has joined Elite having passed through his Level two coaching badge. Ryan joined Plymouth Argyle initially, aged eight, back in June 2001, and played mainly in midfield as a schoolboy. Was successfully switched to right back when Chinua Troupe was injured and went on to make 23 full and two substitute appearances for the youth team, scoring twice, Ryan has now moved through the reserves and is pushing in to the first team. The final new coach at the centre is Ian Nicholls, Ian a UEFA 'B' licence coach has worked mainly within the Womens football scene has come onboard to support the existing coaches. The recruitment of the new coaches further establishes the centres high standard of coaching unmatched by any other organisation throughout the south west.
