Penalty Shootout
The cost of travel for us at the Development Centre has a huge impact on costs incurred by parents and players. Our next fundraiser is a PENALTY SHOOTOUT which will be held at all centres. The aim of the fundraiser is to raise enough money to purchase a second maybe third mini bus to reduce the cost of travel for teams for a away game. At present cost of seats on a bus are around £16.00 with £4.00 match fees. If we are able to raise enough money for these mini buses the cost for away travel will only be based on the £4.00 match fee and cost of petrol to the away venue. Letters and sponsorship forms will be available to download and also passed out at training. We will be looking for every player to hopefully gather on or around £20.00 each. We hope players get behind this event with the winner of each age group winning a prize. Each player will take 5 penalties and if a player is tied they will then go to the dreaded sudden death. Players can try friends, family, neighbours to help support us and you in the event. Good Luck
